Invite your first team members

Congratulations! You just created your workspace, and now is the time to invite others. Of course, inviting others is optional, and you can use a workspace by yourself.

To invite a team member, you need to navigate your workspace tab, click on the “Members” section, and start the invite by clicking on the “Invite” button located in the top right corner of your screen.

In the invite form, you can enter the details of your member. The only required field is the email address of the member.

If the member you are trying to invite already has a Vieolo account, the invite email should be the primary address they have used to create their Vieolo account. If the member you are trying to invite does not have a Vieolo account, they will receive an email notifying them about your invitation. Once they sign up using their email, they can access the invitation and respond accordingly.

Other fields of the form are optional and are used for your internal records. Even though these fields are optional, we highly recommend you enter the relevant information for better and more accurate operation, especially if you use your workspace for a business.

While sending an invite, you can select the default permissions of the member. We have, by default, selected a very strict set of permissions for the member, but you can change them as you see fit. Don’t worry, once the member accepts the invitation, you can adjust their permission and access as often as you wish.

Your privacy is important. So, on the next page, we tell a bit more about how to change the permissions and access of your members (those who have accepted your invitation) to make sure your data is only accessed by those you trust the most.
